DIGITAL PHOTGRAPHY
Managed photography workload on an on-going basis for magazine publishing group with
offices in12 state.Supplied original photography for14 separate publications as well as online web
content, companyadvertising and marketing,able to meet extreme deadlines and
last-minute changes, updates and production schedule shifts.
Directed state-of-the art digital studio, with three separate shooting areas including: Main
production area for large, complex, longer term and stationary sets; portraiture area with
multiple backgrounds; and food and product table. Each area utilized separate Profoto studio
strobe lighting setups and is controlled via MAC with Profoto studio software. Built required
sets, choose or digitally created props and wardrobe, and hired models.
Completed multiple photography and Photoshop projects daily, in multiple settings,
including: in-studio product shots and story illustrations; individual to large group portraits;
on-site at doctor’s offices, corporate headquarters, hospitals, theaters, banquet halls,
conference centers and at special events; as well as architectural photography and
environmental portraits.
Collaborated extensively and harmoniously with varied groups of publishers, editors, art
directors and graphic designers, and heads of corporate marketing and communications
departments, to plan and implement photography concepts for covers, inside features,
advertisements and promotional materials, in addition to coordinating complex schedules
with outside sources and subjects, and obtaining necessary releases.
Adhered to creative and company objectives, while producing large volume, high quality,
creative, commercial photography on a consistent basis, with minimum direction required.
Oversaw architectural planning of large in-house studio from ground up, analyzed and
purchased all necessary equipment (studio, cameras and computer), and maintained the same
to function to professional standards under high constant demand.
Developed, communicated and enforced creative policies including contract, legal and
financial agreements, photography releases for individuals and locations. Maintained, reports
on, researched and managed all studio lighting, cameras, lenses, and other equipment in a
professional manner including equipment purchase and repair. Communicated deadlines to
the creative team, manages Photo studio schedules.
